A historic barn converted into a private home in Bygstad, photographed for short-term rental. Commissioned by the owners. I documented the space with intent to sell the panoramic view and surroundings in relation to the property.

Capture the property in a manner that shows off the location, views and architecture of the home, tempting the viewer to book a stay there.

My approach
As the images were for short-term rental use, and the owners had styled to the standard of how the property would be found when rented out, I went for a documentary and “as-was-found” approach. Late afternoon sunlight turning into a moody evening meant that I spent multiple hours on site, often shooting the same angles again as the light changed (including multiple drone flights).
